Convincing green hubbard squash We consider this South American variety the most impressive green hubbard. Its fruits are smaller, more manageable and robust than those of Green Hubb. Warted, about 2-3 kg (4-6.5 lbs) in weight. Apart from its decorative appearance, Barnacle Bill is also a palatable winter squash.

Moderate vining C. maxima are rather sturdy and excellent for the kitchen.

This variety grows well on warm and permeable soil, preculture and transplanting from the end of April or direct seeding from the beginning of May in open field.

When sowing, leave spaces accordingly to this plant´s vining behaviour.
