Productive butternut plant, the favorite on our own fields

Pilgrim comes quite early and brings butternut squashes of about 1.5-2 kg (3.5-5.4 lbs) in weight. No cracking, fit for storage. It has an above-the-average percentage of quality specimens, thus Pilgrim did establish as an in-company key player. We recommend precultivating and transplanting for this variety to ensure full growth and a good yield.

Moderate vining Butternuts are deservedly among the best squashes.

Cucurbita moschata need a lot of warmth and should be precultivated. That way, varieties with a maturing period of up to 110 days grow even in colder regions.

When sowing, leave spaces accordingly to this plant´s vining behaviour.
