Black futsu is a beautiful, long-lasting moschata, somewhat variable in size, 1-3.5 kg (2-8 lbs.). It´s a little earlier then e.g. Muscade de Provence and turns from green to terra cotta. This winter squash is remarkably well stockable and great in the kitchen.
Cucurbita moschata Days to maturity: 110
Moderate vining Curcubita moschata usually are very rich in beta carotene.
1 Portion: 10 seeds
Cucurbita moschata need a lot of warmth and should be precultivated. That way, varieties with a maturing period of up to 110 days grow even in colder regions.

When sowing, leave spaces accordingly to this plant´s vining behaviour.
