Sortenrarität mit kurzen, stumpfen Karotten und breitem Rübenkörper. Länge 10-12 cm, Breite 6-8 cm, hell orange. Sehr kräftiges Laub; saftig süß und aromatisch. Gut geeignete Saftmöhre. Ochsenherz ist eine späte Lagersorte mit relativ langer Entwicklungsdauer, nicht zu dicht aussäen bzw. später ausdünnen auf ca. 30 Pflanzen/qm. Die Möhren haben einen außergewöhnlich guten Geschmack.

  • Erntezeitraum: 140-160 Tage nach Saat
  • Aussaattermin: März-Juni
  • Portion: reicht für ca. 500 Pflanzen
  • Das TKG beträgt ca. 0,8 bis 1,1 Gramm

Aussaat direkt ins Freiland, Saattiefe 1-2 cm

Reihenabstand: 30 cm, in der Reihe 2-4 cm

Gegen Möhrenfliege freie, windige Lagen wählen oder mit Netz abdecken, keine frische Düngung. Möhren nur aller 6 Jahre an derselben Stelle anbauen. Wächst gut mit Mais, Tomaten, Zwiebeln, Kopfsalat und Kartoffeln
