Großfrüchtige rote Habanerovariante

Diese von den Antillen stammende rote Habanero ist eine Variante der Scotch Bonnet. Die uniformeren Früchte werden mit einem Durchmesser von etwa 3 cm und einer Länge von etwa 4 cm aber größer. Die Früchte sind sehr scharf. Bestens zum trocknen und mahlen geeignet, gemahlen ist die Sorte auch nicht so scharf wie frisch. Die Pflanze kann kühl und hell überwintert werden und trägt dann im Folgejahr deutlich früher. Gute Kübelpflanze.

  • Bei guter Kulturführung kann man ab August ernten
  • Pflanzabstand: ca. 60 x 60 cm
  • Eine Portion enthält 20 Korn

 

Pflege-Tipp Paprika:
Immer gleichmäßig feucht halten, aber nicht zu nass.
Regelmäßig schwach nachdüngen und humose, nährstoffreiche Erde verwenden.
Paprikas sind wärmebedürftig. Bester Standort: volle Sonne in Südlage oder im Foliengewächshaus. Paprikas sind frostempfindlich.

 

Die Aussaat erfolgt von Anfang Januar bis Anfang März bei 20-25 ° C mit warmer Vorkultur im Haus. Pflanzung im Gewächshaus oder ab Mitte Mai im Freiland im Abstand 60 x 60 cm. Wuchshöhe im Freiland etwa 70 cm, im Gewächshaus höher.
