Diese Sorte ist besonders widerstandsfähig und wegen der Frosttoleranz bestens für den Herbstanbau im Freiland geeignet. Sie bildet gute Köpfe mit fleischigen, ganzrandigen Blättern und gut gefüllte gelbe Herzen, die sich gut lagern lassen. Im Spätsommeranbau läßt sich Escariol gut bleichen

  • Cichorium endivia
  • Pflanzabstand 30 x 30 bis 30 x 40 cm
  • Portion reicht für etwa : 150 Pflanzen
  • Erntezeit : Ab Mitte August

Zu früher Anbau fördert das Schoßrisiko, Endivien sollten nur aller 4-5 Jahre an der gleichen Stelle stehen

Aussaat ab Anfang Juni, für späte Gewächshauskultur bis Anfang August

Salat nicht zu tief pikieren und pflanzen, Fäulnisgefahr. Die Keimblätter sollten immer über der Erde bleiben, mäßig düngen, hell, luftig und kühl kultivieren
