Fortlaufend fruchtende Aromaerdbeere ohne Ausläufer

Alexandria ist eine aromatische Walderdbeere mit rund bis länglich zylindrischen Früchtchen. Die Pflanzen blühen und fruchten den ganzen Sommer über und sind eine beliebte Nascherei. Alexandria bildet so gut wie keine Ausläufer und ist gut für Topf oder Balkonkasten geeignet. Die Pflanzen sind mehrere Jahre ausdauernd.

  • Fragaria vesca
  • Die Ernte erfolgt in der Regel ab dem 2. Jahr fortlaufend, bei früher Aussaat im Herbst des ersten Jahres
  • 1 Portion reicht für etwa 50 Pflanzen

Aussaat von Februar bis Mitte Mai bei etwa 20° C, anschließend in kleine Töpfe pikieren und ab Mai bis September im Abstand 20 x 20 cm pflanzen

Erdbeeren sind Lichtkeimer, Samen hauchdünn absieben und andrücken. Die Samen dürfen nicht austrocknen, Saatkiste mit Folie oder Haube abdecken und täglich durch Sprühen feucht halten. Die Keimung erfolgt dann in der Regel nach 7-14 Tagen
