Auf Gewicht selektierte Auslese, orangefarbene Früchte

Diese Auslese trägt nicht umsonst den Zusatz "Competition Strain". Es ist eine Auslese aus Einzelexemplaren mit einem Gewichtspotential von über 400 kg. Atlantic Giant sind genetisch flexibel, weshalb die Farbe der Früchte von grünweißlich bis kräftig orange variiert. Pflanzen dieser Sorte benötigen für die Riesenkürbiszucht mindestens 10 qm, optimal sind etwa 20-25 qm.

Diese Sorte gedeiht gut auf warmen, durchlässigen Böden, Vorkultur und Pflanzung mit Aussaat ab Ende April oder Direktsaat ab Anfang Mai

Der Pflanzabstand richtet sich bei Kürbissen nach dem Rankverhalten
