Zinnia marylandica ist eine Artkreuzung von Zinnia violacea und Zinnia angustifolia, gezüchtet von der Universität Maryland. Diese Zinnie ist deutlich weniger anfällig als die uns bekannten Zinnia elegans. Zinnia marylandica mögen warme, gerne auch einmal trockenere Standorte um ihre wahre Pracht zu entfalten.Zahara Yellow bildet unermüdlich Blüten in leuchtendem Gelb.

  • Zinnia marylandica
  • Die Pflanzen werden etwa 40 cm hoch
  • Eine Portion enthält 30 Korn
  • Die Blüte beginnt ab Ende Juni und hält an bis zum Frost

Aussaat ab Anfang März im Gewächshaus bei 18-22 ° C, in kleine Töpfe pikieren und nach den letzten Frösten im Abstand ca. 30 cm auspflanzen. Direktsaat ab Mai möglich
