Buschig, ertragreich, ähnlich Zucchini erntbar

Zappho ist eine Besonderheit unter den Riesenkürbissen. Die Pflanzen wachsen buschig und tragen reichlich kleine grüne Früchte, die bereits in jungem Alter geerntet werden können. Sie sind deutlich aromatischer als Zucchini. Ausgereift bleiben die Früchte in der Regel unter 1 Kg. Der Ursprung der Sorte ist Südamerika, dort auch als Tronco Redondo weit verbreitet. Zappho wurde hieraus in Deutschland ausgelesen. Auch ausgereift lassen sich die Früchte verwenden, z.B. gefüllt. Sind aber nicht sehr lagerfähig.

  • Reifezeit: jung 50 Tage, ausgereift 80 Tage
  • Zappho wächst buschförmig
  • Zappho kann jung und ausgereift gegessen werden
  • 1 Portion = 10 Korn

Diese Sorte gedeiht gut auf warmen, durchlässigen Böden, Vorkultur und Pflanzung mit Aussaat ab Ende April oder Direktsaat ab Anfang Mai

Für Zappho empfehlen wir 1 qm Platzbedarf je Pflanze
