Kompakte, kleinere Butternut mit Tradition

Ponca ist eine alte Sorte, die in Amerika sehr beliebt ist. Auch bei uns erfreut sie sich immer größerer Beliebtheit, ihre schönen Früchte von etwa 1 kg wachsen an sehr kompakten Ranken

  • Cucurbita moschata
  • Reifezeit: 95 Tage
  • Ponca rankt recht schwach, Platzbedarf etwa 2 qm
  • Butternuts zählen zurecht zu den besten Speisekürbissen
  • 1 Portion= 10 Korn

Cucurbita moschata sind recht wärmebedürftig und sollten daher besser vorkultiviert werden. Sorten mit einer Reifezeit bis 110 Tagen gedeihen dann auch in kalten Regionen.

Für Ponca empfehlen wir etwa 2 qm Platz je Pflanze
