Berühmter, großer graublauer Speisekürbis

Istanbul ist eine Auslese des berühmten türkischen Honigkürbis. Die schön gerippten graublauen Früchte werden zwischen 8 und 12 kg schwer. Das enthaltene Fruchtfleisch ist dunkelorange und in der türkischen Küche sehr beliebt. Istanbul benötigt für sein starkes Wachsum reichlich Platz, einen warmen Standort und ist mit einer Reifezeit von 110 bis 120 Tagen nur für sehr warme Regionen geeignet.

  • Istanbul rankt stark
  • Die Früchte sind bestens für die Küche geeignet
  • 1 Portion = 10 Korn

Kürbisse gedeihen gut auf warmen, durchlässigen Böden, Vorkultur und Pflanzung mit Aussaat ab Ende April oder Direktsaat ab Anfang Mai

Für Istanbul empfehlen wir 3-4 qm je Pflanze

Auf dem Acker hat der Türkische Honigkürbis einen guten Ertrag gebracht. Unsere Früchte wurden nicht so groß, aber es wurde auch nicht gedüngt und die Pflanzen mussten mit den vorhandenen Nährstoffen auskommen. Sieht schön und dekorativ aus. Das Fruchtfleisch ist hervorragend in der Küche zu verwenden.
