Den Namen erhielt diese hübsche Beet- und Rabattenpflanze, da die einzelnen Blüten nur wenige Stunden blühen. Dafür werden aber kontinuierlich und reichlich neue Blüten angesetzt. Die Pflanze fühlt sich im Beet an sonnigem Standort sehr wohl und blüht bis zum Spätsommer unaufhörlich. Auf mageren Böden bleibt die Pflanze mit 30 cm kompakt, kann aber bei gut versorgten Böden bis zu 70 cm hoch werden.

  • Hibiscus trionum
  • Der Saat-/Pflanzabstand beträgt bis etwa 30 x 30 cm
  • Eine Portion reicht für etwa 150 Pflanzen
  • Die Blütezeit ist etwa ab Ende Juni bis September
  • Die Pflanzen erreichen eine Höhe von etwa 30-70 cm

Die Aussaat erfolgt ab Anfang März bis mit Vorkultur mit 2-3 Korn in kleine Töpfe, etwa 1 cm tief bei 18-22 ° C. Direktsaat an Ort und Stelle ab Ende April, die Samen zuvor 24 Stunden im Wasser quellen lassen
