Ramondia F1 ist eine neue, standfeste Sorte mit sehr frühem Ertrag. Das besondere sind die die zweifarbigen Kolben, 75% gelb, 25% weiß. Die Kolben werden etwa 22 cm lang, sind bis zur Spitze besetzt und lassen sich nach der Ernte gut für einige Tage im Kühlschrank lagern. Mit einer Wuchshöhe von nur etwa 150 cm und der schnellen Entwicklungszeit ideal geeignet für den Anbau im Garten und in Sätzen. Supersweet-Sorten sind besonders zart und süß. Zuckermais ist nährstoffbedürftig.

  • Die Ernte erfolgt je nach Aussaattermin ab Juli bis Oktober
  • Die Aussaat erfolgt in der Regel direkt ins Freiland ab Mai, in der Reihe 15-20 cm, zwischen den Reihen 60-80 cm

Pflege-Tip Mais : Die Ernte von Zuckermais läßt sich durch Auflage von Vlies oder Lochfolie verfrühen. Wichtig ist, auf erwärmten, nicht zu nassen Boden zu säen, damit die Pflanzen keimen und wachsen. Sinnvoll ist es in 2-3 Sätzen zu säen um fortlaufend Maiskolben ernten zu können.
