Eine italienische Spezialität, in Kultur und Frucht zwischen Gurke und Melone. Bei guten Bedingungen trägt sie reich. die mittelgrünen, leicht beflaumten Früchte haben eine besondere Geschmacksnote. Von der Wärmebedürftigkeit eher als Melone anzubauen, gerne im Gewächshaus, gedeiht aber auch im Freiland an warmen, sonnigen Plätzen. Die Kultur ist sowohl am Boden als auch aufgeleitet möglich.

  • Cucumis flexuosus
  • Eine Portion reicht für etwa 40 Pflanzen
  • Die Ernte startet in warmen Lagen ab Juli

Die Aussaat erfolgt im Haus Anfang April bei 20-25 ° C direkt mit einem Korn in kleine Töpfe, die Töpfe bis zur Keimung nicht zu naß halten, Pflanzung ab Anfang/Mitte Mai im Abstand 1 x 1 m
