Longue de Nice bildet grüne, mit der Reife in ocker verfärbende schlanke und lange Früchte. Sie sind entsprechend langgezogene Butternüsse. Das Fruchtfleich ist, abgesehen von der kleinen Samenhöhle massiv und dunkelorange. Longue de Nice eignet sich praktisch für alle Küchengerichte.Longue de Nice stammt, wie der Name verrät aus Frankreich und ist in den Samenkatalogen eine Rarität geworden.
