Boston Marrow ist eine Sorte,

die nachweislich aus dem Jahre 1831 stammt. Möglicherweise, aber nicht dokumentiert entstammt sie einer alten Indianersorte. Boston Marrow trägt recht gut. Die Früchte wiegen etwa 4-7 kg.

  • Cucurbita maxima
  • Reifezeit: 90-95 Tage
  • Boston Marrow rankt und benötigt etwa 2-3 qm
  • Die Früchte sind sehr gut für die Küche geeignet
  • 1 Portion = 10 Korn

Kürbisse gedeihen gut auf warmen, durchlässigen Böden, Vorkultur und Pflanzung mit Aussaat ab Ende April oder Direktsaat ab Anfang Mai

If you want big

I got one fruit per plant from this variety, but the fruits were really big. I sold one at a market and it was more than 13 kg. Impressive but maybee hard to sell.
