Runde Kiwano mit erfrischendem Aroma

Kiwano, auch als Horngurke bezeichnet, sind altbekannte, aromatische Früchte aus der Familie der Gurkengewächse. Jelly Rund ist eine bislang wenig bekannte Sorte, rundlich, gezackt, hellgrün bis weiß bei Vollreife und mit einem Aroma zwischen Banane und Zitrone.

  • Cucumis metuliferus
  • Die Ernte erfolgt, je nach Kulturweise und Start ab Ende Juli
  • Der Pflanzabstand beträgt etwa 1 x 1-2 m, ähnlich Melonen
  • 1 Portion enthält: 10 Korn

Die Aussaat erfolgt unter Glas Anfang April bei 22-25 ° C direkt mit einem Korn in kleine Töpfe, die Töpfe, wie bei Kürbissen nicht zu nass halten

Die Kultur von Kiwanos ähnelt der Kultur von Gurken und Melonen, Kiwanos mögen warme Lagen und können ebenfalls im Gewächshaus angebaut werden. Sie können auch aufgeleitet kultiviert werden
