Frühe Gemüse-Sojabohne - Knabber-Spezialität aus Japan

Frühe Gemüsesojabohne, durch die Kombination von Frühzeitigkeit und excellentem Geschmack besonders geeignet für die japanische Snackspezialität Edamame. Erntereif, wenn die Hülsen prall gefüllt sind, am dicksten sind die Bohnen, wenn die Hülsen ihre sattgrüne Farbe verlieren. Für Edamame werden die Schoten in Wasser gekocht, gesalzen und serviert. Die Hülsen können nicht verzehrt werden, nur die Bohnen werden gegessen. Kann auch eingefroren werden. 

  • Glycine max
  • Der Abstand bei Pflanzung beträgt etwa 40 x 25 cm
  • Eine Portion reicht für etwa 30 Pflanzen
  • Die Ernte erfolgt, je nach Kulturweise und Start ab Mitte/Ende August

Die Aussaat erfolgt mit Vorkultur ab Anfang April im Haus mit 2 Korn je Topf bei 25 ° C oder nach den letzten Frösten ab Mitte Mai in warmen Boden mit etwa 10 cm in der Reihe und 50 cm zwischen den Reihen

Sojabohnen sind von Natur aus wärmebedürftige Pflanzen. Nicht zu reichlich mit Nährstoffen versorgen, sonst werden die Pflanzen weich und bleiben nicht standfest. Bei anhaltender Trockenheit giessen.
