Gladiator F1 ist krankheitsbeständig und schnell abreifend.

Die Wurzeln haben ein sehr schönes Fruchtfleisch mit etwas an Maggi-Würze erinnerndem Aroma, leicht keilförmig-bauchig geformt. Die Haut der bis zu 30 cm lang werdenden Wurzeln ist seidig glatt.
Neigt kaum zur Bildung von Seitenwurzeln und die Wurzeln sind sher gut lagerfähig.

Ich bin etwas skeptisch gewesen, da ich es vermeiden wollte F1 (Hybrid) anzupflanzen. Bin jedoch vom guten Ertrag und Geschmack überzeugt worden. Das kommt dieses Jahr wieder in die Erde :-)

Kam mit trockenheissem Jahr und schwerem Boden sehr gut zurecht. Das Laub wird sehr gross und fällt auseinander, besser mit grösserem Pflanzabstand säen. Haltbarkeit ebenfalls sehr, sehr gut. Trocknet nicht schnell aus. Tolle Sorte.
