Wallone ist ein Endiviensalat mit feinen, tief eingeschnittenen, gekräuselten Blättern uns sehr gutem Geschmack. Eine schöne Abwechslung für die Rohkostplatte, wird aber auch gerne leicht angedämpft gegessen. Bei zu kalten Temperaturen in der Jugendzeit schießen die Pflanzen schnell, daher erst ab Anfang Juni bis Mitte Juli aussäen.

  • Cichorium endivia
  • Pflanzabstand: ca. 40 x 30 cm
  • 1 Portion reicht für etwa 200 Pflanzen
  • Ernte: von August bis November, abhängig vom Aussaatzeitpunkt

Zu früher Anbau fördert das Schossrisiko, Endivien sollten nur aller 4-5 Jahre an der gleichen Stelle stehen

Aussaat mit Vorkultur von Juni bis Juli bei 12-16 ° C, Direktsaat mit Vereinzeln ist möglich

Salat nicht zu tief pikieren und pflanzen: Fäulnisgefahr. Die Keimblätter sollten immer über der Erde bleiben, mäßig düngen, hell, luftig und kühl kultivieren
